Well was getting sick of always having to try and get the buggies around the shed and on and off the bench as they are starting to get heavy now, and too heavy for the mrs to lift so built and couple of stands with wheels on them for the buggies, work a treat and definitely gonna save my back ;)

Well started doing all the body tabs today, cut out a heep of them and started welding them all on, very time consuming as all you guys would know...

Also went around to Matt(boily)'s to bend up nerf bars, turned out to be a disaster as firstly I buggered up and cut steel too short and then I bent on of them in the wrong spot :( anyway grab a couple more lengths of steel this week and have another crack ;)

Anyway here are some pics...

Well it doesn't look like it but I spent about 5 hours on the buggies yesterday...

Was busy making and welding body tabs on.. and then tapped all the holes and cut out some of the body sheets, tedious work but should be worth it in the end ;)

Well people made a bit more progress today, slow but steady, added a couple more pipes in and did a bit more sheeting on the outside...

Got some more done today and thanks to Matt for the use of his bender ;)

Bent up the nerf bars and installed them... Also added in the lower ali triangle on the side of the buggy and made up the light wire frame for the mesh to be welded, knocked up the mounting tabs to mount the above on also, anyway really starting to take shape now and looking forward to getting a bit more done this weekend, especially being a long weekend ;)

Kept making up more panels today, what a job and a half :( spent about 5 hours on the silly little panel that runs down the side of the bonnet and still not happy with it, am going to have to check out how other peoples have done this one...

Also knocked up a home made bender hahaha... did the job anyway ;)

Anyway here are some pics, I will let them do the talking...

lookin good mate, i remember those days of cutting panel tabs all too well, ally panels are fun too, lol.
your bender looks a bit more hi tech than mine
only way to do the sides of the bonnet is to put creases in it or twist it, thats why i done mine from corner to corner, near impossible to get right

Hey mate unfortunately we have just moved from WA to NSW so yeah my buggies are in a seacon some where between Kal and Sydney, but the good news is we have moved over to here to move on to our 46acre block of land ;) so yeah just currently in process of building a house there then back on to the buggies so this thread is probably going to slide off into the archives but TRUST me it will come back to life hopefully sooner rather then later ;)
