LOOKING FOR A BARRACUDA

LOOKING FOR A BARRACUDA

Postby Wanabusa » Sat Aug 20, 2011 5:07 pm

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a barracuda buggy in NZ, does anybody know of one for sale? I missed out on one earlier this year that was listed on trade me, I don't think it sold and I've been trying to track it down, I'm hoping someone might know were it is. (not meaning the one Russell built,I know that was sold)

Any help would be much appreciated, cheers.

Yeah there's some nice buggys in aussie alright, I recently looked into importing the one listed on e-bay from the states, but it's fairly expensive the time ya freight it, clear it and pay 15% gst and a bit scary trusting that the buggy will be sent after you've paid for it, but I'd look at bringing one from Aussie if I could find one cheap enough, trying to work within a budget, the missis reckons paying the mortgage is important as well :(

Some one will know where the cuda is that was listed on trade me, it had a aprilia 1000 engine in it and it was reasonable buying as well.

From the states freight would be shocking.

The cost to ship from the states was 4k, but then you also have to pay 15% gst on the total cost including the purchase price, freight and insurance, I did find a local importer who said that he would do it for half of that, which sounded good, but the cuda was pulled before the auction closed, might nave sold.

I'm trying to find a buggy for under 16k as I will be racing it in oranz (offroad association of new zealand) and theirs a number of upgrades required to the strength of the buggy to handle the conditions here, also a larger tank, wheels etc go along way towards finishing well on the enduro rounds.
