Hey Badboy, where did you get the accelerator cable from on my Taipan? I need a new one... :oops:

ha ah hmmmm....

that cable is off the piranha i brought from bobonoxious... I think i have another one i will have a look for ya.

But that cable was a bit short.. Im pretty sure any standard accelerator cable.. maybe the one from edge, would fit.

So hows the taipan going? despite the accelerator malfunction? I miss that little beast :(

Beast is right, it does beastly things to my back when I drive it all day, which I do at every opportunity! Still changing oil, filter and sparkplugs regularly. The silly little canister shaped muffler fell off, so that's put a fast-forward on my plans for a proper exhaust for it. But otherwise, it bloody hammers for a little 'un!

hey I know this is a really old topic but does anyone no how wide this thing is or if it could fit into a 7x5 box trailer (1.5x2.1m)

A standard Taipan will fit a 7x5' trailer.

Ok thanks Tony and what would be the maxium engine size you could put in one of these things if you strengthen the axle and bearing mounts etc. Because ive got a cbr 600 engine that I can get a good deal on

250cc is about the biggest you want to go as you don't have suspension.
