Hey great photos Mongoose!

I'm a bit concerned about that first photo, looks like Ray's in front of someone......

Oh yeah! And Baz is still in the lead! Go Honda!

Ray demonstrated supreme self-discipline, and was thus not struck down by the Righteous lightning bolt of DNF.

I think CPO, like myself, is possessed by the speed demon. No amount of self-discipline can withstand the stunts and and wild driving behaviour required to satisfy the speed demon within us.

But do I really want my speed demon exorcised?

The problem I had with wanting to stay at the back all day Camel was the 2 other buggys that also wanted to go off the back so I settled for 3rd last
that ment I was actually in the middle of the pack
Dont worry about the speed demon it was satisfied for another week
Is it run in yet ?
It will be good to realy be able to rev it !

CPO yeap I now hold the record for the number of laps in a WA Cuda
Whole event no breakages and drove it back onto the trailer
( Unlike you using the loader)

Well that's a new slant on buggy racing - sounds like people were battling for last place!

Nope, not run in yet. Do a few laps up and down Coolbellup beach every arvo until I get back!

The trick to running it in is:

DON'T lug the engine
DON'T over rev it
DON'T rev it without load

DO run it normally (my 'normal')
DO keep eyes on oil pressure, temperature, quantity, quality (no shiny bits) and leaks
DO keep an eye on coolant temperature, quantity, quality (no oil) and leaks
DO remove the oil cap and sniff for burning clutch plates
DO check for loose bolts, fasteners, etc
DO use your clutch to change gears

There's also a heap of things I look for and check which I won't go into here, like spraying WD40 (thanks Mongrel, now I know I can wank with it too!) on the throttle bodies and rubbers while it's running to check for air leaks, blah blah, blah

Geeze all the Dont's are the ones that come natural are you sure ?

Well thats the first time I have been told about a beach in coobelup
Only thing that a buggy could be good for there is running down....
Or you could go looking for it there if it was stolen

I think you ment Coogee,
Thats not a chance been chatted by the ranger there a couple of times in different four wheel drives hate to think what he would do if we had a buggy there.
Been let off on both ocassions but I think it was only coz I wasnt driving the second time ( I was more like hideing under the dash )
