Moranbah Barracuda

Postby Toyz@Large » Tue Oct 27, 2009 7:02 pm

Hey all. Thought I might start sharing a few bits and pieces. After moving yet again (5th time in 4 years) I got the garage set up and seem to have enough room. Container in the front yard and portable car shelters.....place looks like .......well you know what camp.

Not much done on the frame but have been practicing on the lathe. 100mm extra in the engine bay also. Getting a little better. Got a bunch of Edge stuff rockin up soon and some time off over Xmas so hope to make a dent in it. Hope to source a Busa for the donk. Anyway not a great deal but it's something.

Cheers

Paul

Hey, looks good! I bet you feel glad to be making progress again (not that moving to Moranbah can be classed as 'progress' - unless you were moving from Mount Isa....)

Shrunk....I wish.....I just hope I can fit in the god dammed seat by the time i finish. This is our 3rd move in Moranbah in 15 months and I'm just about jack of it. But hopefully settled for a while and want to concentrate on the Barra. The lathe skills have gotten a little better and have even remade some stuff that now looked a bit shoddy. Shall post some more picks as I progress. Feedback, good or bad is most welcome. Be great if I could get it done by next Easter!!

Cheers

Paul

Yeah sorry Jet.....got Barra on the brain.....plus I'd had afew, I do mean Busa. I'll pm ya. Still at the same mine Greg just upgrade to bigger house for different job, at Goonyella. Much more room inside but no shed or underneath now so got container for storage and portable car shelter. Looks rough but what the heck. The sheds sorted. Give us a yell when yup here....have a brewsky.
