Baracuda autocross build

Postby WRX97 » Wed Aug 30, 2017 11:27 am

Hi all,

I'm scouting ideas for a full-on race car build for autocross and light track use, as well as recreational around the house (motocross track on property). I have been looking at the Baracuda chassis and a CBR1000 engine as a good starting point.

I just wonder, has anyone built one of these to be a full-on tarmac racer? Any way to lower the suspension at all? Slicks?

I was also thinking of getting fancy with the interior and throwing this: http://www.aim-sportline.com/eng/produc ... /index.htm
plus AIM EVO4S or 5 datalogger and a nice steering quick-release at it. Keep the sequential shifter and add one of those "quick-shift" units for streetbikes.

This would be done in the US for club autocross and track days
