G'Day - Barracuda BBQ

Postby Superlite » Tue Jul 11, 2017 11:43 am

G'Day Everyone, Have just purchased this Cuda chassis with plans including the CBR1000F engine on a rotisserie & I'm looking forward to many hours spent in the garage scratching my head.

I have fab'ed 2 other buggies, 1st a Chinese single seat installing an FZR 600 engine and my 2nd was a custom roller from QLD which I install a Hyosung 650R V-Twin, but unfortunately was written off in an accident ( one of my mates was driving ).

My first question to all is what rear end I should use ?

I have the plans for the PIRCV, but also like the S1 & CV2 options.

As the engine is already installed, I was wondering what the 3 rear end setups drive sprockets are most offset to the centre line of the chassis is ? ( does anyone have the measurements, Hi Tony ! )

While this may or may not determine the final choice it could be a starting point.

I look forward to hearing everyone's input ( constructive criticism accepted as part of my own learning curve ).

cheers
Chris
