Hi, I have a few questions.

Is it ok, that the rear wheel is 4-5cm offset to the front wheels, or is it normal?
The rims do not have the perfect inside-offset so it came to this.

I assembled the Pedalboxes for testing and it seems very close between them and between right and left tubes.
What do you think about? I didn't want to change the steering rod.
Now I need smaller feets.

I'd say it would just be to do with the offset of your wheels mate, I think the front and rear width is the meant to be the same or very similar (front track is wider, but rear width is made up from wide rear wheels...). I wouldn't worry too much about it, changing your alignment might help?

Yeah there isn't much room for the pedals up there  I changed my steering column so it is mostly up and out of the way, but it still sucks

Yeah, maybe I can adjust the rear wheels a little.

I was dissatisfied with my fuel tank, so I rewelded the the filler cap.

A little work on it and its good enough for me. Hopefully everything works without a fuel pump. (the FJ1200 1XJ doesn't had one)

There is not much happened on the Buggy, I finished my money project "Velo-Ciraptor #2".

I was at the junkyard, disassambling a subaru legacy starter engine. (The only subaru on 3 wreckers in town)
When I was ready I found an CBR600 Motorbike which was very destroid, but the front left brake, the cockpit and a few other Parts wehere ok.

I assebled the starter in the cartridge and it seems that there are a generation whis long sprocket shafts and one with short. I need to machine out some spacers for it.

And I've testet the Brakesattle with the reverse ring gear. That looks very good. 3 pistons will stop it I think. Ive to produce a spacer plate.

The unused Parts I sold on Ebay, so the starter was for free.

I made a little video.

Hey, the last post is been a while.

Now i finished the money-prject
Next week it will be sold, so I can pay the shocks and other stuff.
Image

I bought 2 brake calipers for the front wheels and fitted it in, but the bolts which holds the brake disks are to big an contakts the caliper.
Image
Its really close to fit it in but i think it will work.

I attached the rear brake...

and sealed the fuel tank inside. (silly pic  )

Last week I assembled the Starter engine,
Image

therefore I need to cut out a piece of the Gearbox.
Image

End of last week the Material (42CrMo4 / 1.7225 / C4140) arrived. I hope this will be strong enough for the drive shafts.
I cuttet out four pieces now there are 3,700m of the 6,000m left. So I started thinking abaut producing tie rods of it. (Thx Corey for your infos)

The engine mount point is to close to the Chain, so I have to think about other possibilitys.

All good mate!

Progress is looking good!

Are you gonna put an extra gusset or whatever in there where you cut the rear cartridge housing?
