:D :D :D :D :D Go you F#@k'n good thing... Go FPR boys... Make it any Ford team :D :D :D :D :D I just cant wait to see these guys finish what should have been done last year. Not to worry though, i edged my bets and still came home a winner with Triple 8 racing. It would be great to see the guys get a "threepeate", but i will take the FPR win over Holden. Garth and his band of "Walkenshaw" boys will be hard to beat. $100 bucks says Garth tander does a double stint at the end. He will be hard to beat.

Looking at the points score, Mick could be a threat being only a few points behind, Luke on the other hand  not so much of a threat ... Sory mate. Go the Fords.

Well i am torn, i want a HOLDEN Victory of Course, But an SBR victory will see me advance further up the Ladder, mmmmm bugger.

I suppose I'll have to sacrifice my V8 Points & GO TEAM RED!

If Philip Island is anything to go by, then Bathurst ( regardless of the brand winning) will be a cracker of a Race, that i get to share with all my CLOSE FRIENDS & BUDDIES! Bring on the Beer, Mates & the Best Seat in the House! what a weekend this is shaping up to be!

Sweepstakes round 12 is on this weekend with the running of the Bahrain round of the V8 Supercar championship.

However before we get to your teams for this round a couple of short announcements.

Sweepstakes, to run successfully require money. Thats how they work. You, the entrant, pay a fee to be in with a chance to win prizemoney. That prizemoney is drawn from the entry fee. If the entrants don't pay the entry fee, there is no prizemoney!

Gentlemen, may I remind you (gently this week) that most of you are woefully behind in your commitment to paying your sweepstake fees! Please guys we need payment of these fees, urgently! There are only three rounds remaining!

Now, do you remeber the cost? $20.00 per round X 14 rounds = $280.00 total entry fee. Yes $280.00 may seem like a lot of money to some, but come on guys, your've had 9 months to pay it off. And $20.00 every two, three or four weeks isn't that hard.

I will be PMing each of you to remind you of how much you still owe. Could we please have all fees paid prior to the final round, the Oran Park Grand Finale on December 4 - 7.

Current sweepstake pointscores are;

3378 pts, Mick.
3210 pts, Greg.
3206 pts, Biggans.
2952 pts, Trojan & Luke.
2947 pts, d'Rat.
2915 pts, Big Boyz Toyz.
2808 pts, Foggy.
2713 pts, Rod.
2710 pts, Stevo.
2683 pts, Ed.
2584 pts, Young Gun.
2498 pts, Dan.
2455 pts, Reg.

Your teams for this weekend are;

Trojan - DJR, cars 17 & 18.
Ed - T8R, cars 88 & 888.
Stevo - HSV, cars 15 & 16.
Young Gun - HRT, cars 1 & 2.
Luke - BJR, cars 12 & 14.
Dan - GRM, cars 33 & 34.
Reg - FPT, cars 021 & 111.
Biggans - PMM, cars 39 & 67.
Greg - HPT, cars 50 & 55.
Mick - FPR, cars 5 & 6.
d'Rat - LPE, cars 7 & 11.
Big Boyz Toyx - TAS, cars 3 & 51.
Rod - SBR, cars 4 & 9.
Foggy - BRI, cars 25 & 26.

Good luck.

Cheers,
Rod.

Proof that there is NO GOD!

Our mate Reg, who has been know to trailer his buggy from Wollongong to BrisVegas, just to have a drive ( This proves he is a TOP BLOKE! ), is the proof....

Reg was the first and only person to pay the entire $280 entry fee before round one. The only other $280 payers were the guys who took last years winnings as payment this year.

Anyway, Reg, top bloke and all, is coming dead last in the sweepstake. Reg is the only guy to have scored 0 points in a round of the sweepstakes (ever) and is the only guy in Australia (that I'm aware of) who will travel 1400 k's for a drive of his buggy.
(And we have guys in our club who live on Brissy's south side who complain about always having to go to the northside for a drive.....)
Reg your a legend mate and you are living proof with your sweepstakes score, that there is NO GOD!

A win is a loss..... Words from the wise

Postby Stevo the Devo » Mon Nov 24, 2008 11:28 pm

Hello Ladies and Gents

What another great weekend of racing. tasmania hosted a range of motorsports events this weekend, including the " Great Mark Webber Bowl Off" . A new sport consisting of a mountain bike, an X-TRAIL and a formula 1 Driver named Mark Webber. I can't complain, I had the 888 racing team which consistantly performed well and provided me with the goods to pay the rent. BUT..........OH YES...............THERES A BUT. Whincup's new nickname for 09 is MR Plough.......( Simpsons episode). He received man of the event for helping the Groundsman to clear all of the debre after a CRAP, sh#t, BALLBAG, BUSHWRINKLE, BEARDED CLAM, MOIST MOOT, FUDGE PACKING attempt at a Doghnut...............This weeks ....WHAT THE.

Cheers for the win

Still waiting on EIGHT people to pay up!

C'mon guys, I put a lot of effort into running this thing, but it's not gonna work if you guys don't uphold your end of the bargain.

Waiting, waiting......

The final round of the 2008 Supercar Sweepstakes is upon us. Thankyou to those who have responded to my requests for payment, the rest of you have one week......

Due to your apathy this will be the final EVER sweepstake draw.....

Trojan. SBR, cars 4 & 9.
Ed. BRI, cars 25 & 26.
Stevo. DJR, cars 17 & 18.
Young Gun. T8R, cars 88 & 888.
Luke. HSV, cars 15 & 16.
Dan. HRT, cars 1 & 2.

If your money is not all paid up by Friday December 12, your entry will be rejected. You will not receive any winnings.

DO NOT EXPECT TO USE ANY WINNINGS AS COMPETITION ENTRY FEES!

IF you have not paid up in full, you are ineligable for any winnings!

This of course means I will now have to recalculate all season winnings and payouts based on final amounts received. Thanks

You all entered this contest knowing the exact amount it cost and how it worked. When you signed on you accepted the competitions costs and conditions, which were plainly laid out in the first posts. Any failure to abide by these conditions or to pay your entry fees, is your responsibility only.

There will be no further posts until after December 12, when I will know the final amount paid in and have recalculated the winnings and earnings.
