I got the frame with a CB900 engine (1980) but I plan on putting a late model 1000cc once I get it sorted out a bit more. Will also look at getting the wings taken off and putting a set of nerf bars on and other bits and pieces for CAMS compliance.

Thanks Rat, it would appear that there is more than one Big Al building edge products. To answer you question about the seat, I got it off John in Victoria (Bendigo) he had some Cuda parts for sale on this forum. He made me a deal I couldn't refuse, $175 for seat and cover posted to Canberra. Thanks John. I will have to pull my finger out and finish the build. Congrats on getting you insurance sorted and have fun a Piranha Park, look forward to seeing some photos.

Hi Ray, I have made a bit of progress lately, fuel tank finished and electrics sorted out. I will order a steering rack from Tony this week so that will be what I will be working on next. Good to see you got a trailer, looking forward to seeing your beast at full noise :D . I am still on track to get it finished on November 11 (12 month build from purchase of the frame). It funny that my expected completion date is

I made a mess of that and sent the last post before I finished  Completion date is Remberance Day (Nov 11) This will remind me that I should have finished my build. Ray I was up your way (Anna Bay) on Thursday and Fiday last week, I can see what you mean about the rain, your tyres should last a lifetime. Cheers Al
