ImageThere you go. Hope this helps. At the moment the pedal returns on the carb spring but thunk I am going to put one on the pedalbox to the pedal to help it. Gears are so much better with rod ends arent they,

An old chineese buggy i was going to buy had exactly that, Like a plunger and u pulled out and twisted a quarter turn it to lock choke on. I think i will do the same but only if i can find a nice tidy looking plunger. If not it may be getting mounted under the dash or somewhere out view

Finished idler sprocket and swapped 55 tooth sprocket for a 60
I made a mount for idler that mounts to the engine mount
Been tinkering with exhaust set up as I want to use the mufflers off the donor
Bike.i shortened them about 200 mm and welded them back together
Looks like it will work .
Also bought some stainless pipe and a heap of bends for exhaust
Bit of a jigsaw but I think it looks functional

Been chipping away at a few tasks (many remaining)
Mounted radiator and started working out cooling
Pipes and starting to figure out fuel system
And mocking up fuel tank as we'll
Bought a small fuel pump and battery and a header
Tank.cleaned out the shed the other day and pushed
Her out in the sun made me so motivated to get this
Project finished

A small tip Trav. Get rid of the fuel pump. They are noisy as. Had one myself to start with. You can hear it vibrate all through the buggy frame.
Looking very nice. Coming along really well. Keep up the good work.

The motor in this thing would be great in a buggy just a bit pricey to strip ha ha
Image
Been back on the buggy
A few things progressing
Finished mounting oil cooler and lines
Mounted coil packs
Fuel system and wiring then this thing is ready to start
