Tacho pickup location ?

Need a spark. All those tedious electrics, lights, tacho, wiring harness, etc

Gday, anyone know about where to pickup the tacho signal from the attached cbr 900 diagram ?

Off one of the ignition coil inputs? Or outputs if it's an inductive pickup...

Feedback, anyway have had this working for a while now, thought i would pass it on, connected existing tacho wire from CDI (CBR900RR 1998) to signal location on my VDO 10K tacho and works great

Good to get feedback.

It's also charmingly nostalgic to see such a simple wiring diagram. At night after work I've been developing a buggy-ised wiring diagram for the Gen 2 Hayabusa.

And it's doing my head in!
